This piece continues my exploration into color relationships, inspired by the work of Bauhaus artist, Josef Albers. The source material is my own digital photograph which is distilled down to fields of color, then digitally manipulated to produce infinite hues, tints and shades. Like Albers, I am particularly interested in the ways colors interact with each other and change the viewer's perception of them.
Shown 30”x40”
Canvas print
Floater Frame, light maple
