Second Gallery Opening!

OPEN GALLERY is pleased to present I Project What I Reflect, a solo exhibition by Nashville artist Amanda Lomax, with a second reception May 18, 2025 from 2pm-6pm. Visually exploring the psychological process of projection, Lomax’s multi-modal abstract sculptures invite the viewer to consider their own projections through obscured mirrored reflections and abstract painted compositions. Made popular by psychoanalyst Carl Jung, projection is an unconscious process. The works in this exhibition make that unconscious process, visible. In doing so, I Project What I Reflect examines the vital human need to make meaning out of an abstract world.

Open Gallery is located at the Packing Plant / 507 Hagan Street / Nashville, TN 37203
